    God's Not Your Spiritual Bodyguard

Before you read this - we're just two guys. Coming off 12-hour shifts, recording in a makeshift studio crammed into a homeschool office. The sound quality sometimes sucks. We stumble over our words. But we're in the arena, throwing punches at darkness while others hide in their pews. You think you're protected. Wrapped in your comfortable faith like bubble wrap. Armed with your memorized verses like magic spells. How painfully naive. Let me tell you what real spiritual warfare looks like: It's my brother choking on his own vomit at 3AM, demon-twisted PTSD turning his mind into a slaughterhouse. No amount of "Jesus loves you" stops that kind of bleeding. Your pastor never warned you about this part, did he? The part where darkness doesn't just whisper - it rips through your skull and nests in your brain like a parasite. Because that would scare the tithe right out of your wallet. Here's what they sold you instead: - Prayer warriors (who've never seen battle) - Spiritual armor (made of cotton candy faith) - Divine protection (that breaks on first contact) Meanwhile Hell's laughing so hard it's raining brimstone. We're not perfect. Not even close. But we're done pretending. Done playing church. Done watching people die in designer faith. You want to know what real spiritual armor looks like? It's not your Sunday best. It's not your cross necklace. It's not your WWJD bracelet. It's scars. Deep ones. The kind that only come from losing fights with demons and getting back up anyway. My brother found that out. In a parking lot. In his car. Purging twenty years of military-grade trauma while something with too many teeth smiled from the mirror. Your "warfare" is a costume party. His was an exorcism. Want to know why your prayers bounce off heaven like rubber bullets? Because you're: - Playing church instead of wielding faith - Singing worship instead of screaming truth - Posting inspiration instead of fighting principalities The enemy isn't impressed by your Instagram devotionals. Demons don't fear your Bible app notifications. Satan doesn't flinch at your retweets of false prophets. He's too busy celebrating while you: - Medicate instead of meditate - Therapize instead of exorcise - Comfort instead of confront You're not wearing armor. You're wearing a spiritual snuggie. Brandon and I learned this the hard way: Real protection costs blood. Real faith leaves marks. Real warfare brings scars. But keep playing dress-up with your Pinterest Christianity. Keep pretending your "covering" means something. Keep thinking your sugar-coated songs scare anything in Hell. Just don't be surprised when the real war starts and you're standing there in spiritual lingerie instead of battle armor. The darkness isn't coming. It's already here. Laughing at your preparations. Mocking your protection. And your "armor" is made of tissue paper. We're not experts. Not gurus. Not polished preachers. Just two guys with callused hands and battle-scarred faith, recording truth between shift work and family life. The sound might crack. The edits might be rough. But the warfare is real. Want the raw, unfiltered truth about spiritual warfare? Join us on this week's MANIFEST podcast. Two regular guys, one desperate mission: to strip the makeup off modern Christianity and show you what real battle looks like. The Biblical Man is a reader-supported publication. MANIFEST: Where Digital Faith Goes to Die

Last Sunday, at exactly 11:43 PM: • 847,000 Christians watched sermon reels • 236,000 shared prayer emojis • 142,000 hearted worship snippets • 1 pastor went live from his hot tub And in a dark room somewhere in America, Two broken men decided to burn it all down. The Brutal Math of Modern Faith: 97% of Christians consume their spirituality through: • Instagram reels • TikTok prophets • YouTube pastors • Twitter threads • Facebook lives The other 3%? They're building something dangerous. Something real. Something that scares the algorithm. We call it MANIFEST. What The 3% Know: The real warriors aren't: • Building platforms • Chasing likes • Crafting content • Seeking validation They're waging war. In silence. In strength. In truth. Keep scrolling Keep consuming Keep dying inside 2. 15 Hard Truths About Faith That Even Andrew Tate Gets Right

Say what you want about Andrew Tate—But he’s right about one thing: 👉 The world hates weak men.👉 And the Bible does too. Modern Christianity is soft—❌ Watered down.❌ Non-confrontational.❌ Afraid of offending the culture. Jesus wasn’t.Paul wasn’t.The early church wasn’t. Most modern churches are more focused on being liked than being biblical. And that’s why Christianity is losing ground. 15 Hard Truths About Faith That Most Christians Ignore 1. Jesus wasn’t soft. He flipped tables & confronted sin.He didn’t beg the world to like Him. 📖 “And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the money changers.” —Matthew 21:12 (KJV) 2. The Gospel isn’t therapy. It’s a war against sin. It’s not here to make you “feel better”—It’s here to make you new. 📖 “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me.” —Galatians 2:20 (KJV) 3. Being “nice” isn’t a commandment. Speaking truth is. 📖 “But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ.” —Ephesians 4:15 (KJV) Most Christians think Christianity = being agreeable. But Jesus offended a lot of people. 4. Faith isn’t about feeling good. It’s about being holy. 📖 “Be ye holy; for I am holy.” —1 Peter 1:16 (KJV) God isn’t interested in how Christianity makes you feel. He’s interested in whether you obey. 5. Most churches today fear man more than God. That’s why their sermons sound like TED Talks. 📖 “For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.” —Galatians 1:10 (KJV) If the world loves your church…That’s probably a bad sign. 6. You don’t need more motivation. You need discipline. 📖 “But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection.” —1 Corinthians 9:27 (KJV) Stop waiting for inspiration.Start building discipline. 7. Weak men create weak families. Lead, or the world will lead for you. 📖 “For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church.” —Ephesians 5:23 (KJV) Most Christian men don’t lead. Then they wonder why their families are falling apart. 8. Your emotions are not the Holy Spirit. Feelings can deceive. 📖 “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?” —Jeremiah 17:9 (KJV) If your “Christianity” is based on your emotions…You’re not following Jesus. 9. Suffering is part of the deal. Stop expecting an easy life. 📖 “Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.” —2 Timothy 3:12 (KJV) Being hated isn’t a glitch in the system. It’s the design. 10. Christians aren’t supposed to fit in. If the world loves you, you’re doing it wrong. 📖 “If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.” —John 15:19 (KJV) If your faith doesn’t make you stand out…You’re not following the Bible. 11. Most modern worship songs are self-centered. It’s not about you. 📖 “Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name; worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.” —Psalm 29:2 (KJV) Christianity isn’t about how God makes you feel. It’s about worshiping Him for who He is. 12. If you’re more afraid of losing followers than losing your soul, you have a problem. 📖 “For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?” —Matthew 16:26 (KJV) 13. The church isn’t a business. Stop treating it like one. 📖 “Make not my Father’s house an house of merchandise.” —John 2:16 (KJV) 14. Men are called to be warriors, not cowards. 📖 “Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.” —1 Corinthians 16:13 (KJV) The church is full of spiritually passive men. That’s why it’s weak. 15. Being hated for truth is a sign you’re doing it right. 📖 “Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man’s sake.” —Luke 6:22 (KJV) If the world hates you for standing on truth…You’re in good company. Final Thought: Weak Faith Won’t Survive What’s Coming The early church faced lions for their faith.Modern Christians fold over mean tweets. 🔥 You want real biblical masculinity?🔥 You want unfiltered truth?🔥 You want faith that can withstand what’s coming? 👉 Subscribe to the Substack → 🎙 And listen to our latest episode on Manifest—available on Apple, Spotify & Substack under The Biblical Man. Joe Rogan and the 15 Hard Truths About Christianity in 2025

Modern Christianity is a brand more than a belief. And the church is paying the price. Here are 15 hard truths most won’t admit: * Being “nice” won’t save you. Jesus wasn’t crucified for being “nice.” (Matthew 10:34 KJV) * Most churches fear man more than God. They preach comfort, not conviction. (Galatians 1:10 KJV) * The Gospel is offensive. If it doesn’t make sinners uncomfortable, it’s not the Gospel. (1 Corinthians 1:18 KJV) * If your faith costs you nothing, it’s worthless. (Luke 9:23 KJV) * Hell is real—your opinion won’t change that. (Luke 16:23 KJV) * Jesus is the ONLY way. Rogan loves the idea of “many paths.” Scripture disagrees. (John 14:6 KJV) * Most “Christian influencers” are frauds. A blue check and a Bible verse don’t make you a disciple. (2 Timothy 3:5 KJV) * America isn’t a “Christian nation” anymore. We’ve traded Scripture for self-help. (Hosea 4:6 KJV) * Spiritual warfare is real. But churches treat it like a metaphor. (Ephesians 6:12 KJV) * People worship their emotions, not God. They follow feelings, not faith. (Jeremiah 17:9 KJV) * Your pastor isn’t supposed to entertain you. He’s supposed to equip you for war. (2 Timothy 4:2 KJV) * Most men in church are spiritually weak. They’d rather be “liked” than lead. (1 Corinthians 16:13 KJV) * “Being a good person” won’t get you to heaven. That’s Joe Rogan theology, not the Bible. (Romans 3:23 KJV) * Jesus isn’t your sidekick—He’s your King. Bow now or bow later. (Philippians 2:10 KJV) * You can’t fix culture until you fix the church. And you can’t fix the church until you fix your own faith. (2 Corinthians 13:5 KJV) Joe Rogan says he doesn’t believe in hell.Satan is perfectly fine with that. 🔥 Get unfiltered biblical truth—subscribe to The Biblical Man Substack. 🎙️ Listen to Manifest—our new podcast, streaming now on Apple, Spotify, and Substack. The 15-Minute Revolution: Silencing Your Inner Parrot

I'm excited to announce a powerful new resource to aid your journey into God's Word. Starting today, I'll be sharing the entire King James Version Bible in audio format on my Substack, courtesy of Justin Bible, a dedicated Bible-believing Christian. Justin's testimony is a powerful reminder of why we do this: "A little over 10 years ago I was a lost man walking in the ways of this fallen world when by God's Truly Amazing Grace, Jesus Christ raised me from the dead (spiritually) and I was Born Again (John 1:13, John 3:3-6) into His Kingdom. I do this 'Just In Bible – HD Audio-Text Read Along' project so others can know my Lord Jesus Christ too. It always bothered me that my favorite Bible narrators never publicly made a profession for Jesus Christ. It's as if narrating the Bible was just one of many of their secular narration projects done for commercial sale. I don't know their hearts or beliefs, really only God does, but I know I am outspoken about my faith in Jesus Christ. He is the reason I do what I do – because while I was yet a wretched sinner, He died for me (Romans 5:8). I will always publicly profess my love for Him openly (Luke 12:8, Matthew 10:32-33). I may not be the most talented narrator in the world (as some hateful critics have pointed out) but I believe every Word I read from this book because God has used it to change my life, here on earth and for all eternity. I believe a novice narrator led by The Holy Spirit reading God's Word, is much more effective than the most talented, experienced, world-renowned narrators who are not being led by The Holy Spirit. May God bless you with an unquenchable thirst for His Holy Word – The Bible" We're kicking off with all four Gospels available on the main page. The rest of the Bible will be uploaded daily to a special section of The Biblical Man. Your subscription will grant you access to this complete audio Bible, perfect for those times when reading isn't possible but you still want to immerse yourself in Scripture. Warriors, it's time to silence the parrots and amplify the voice of God in your life. Here's your battle plan: 1. Commit to the 30-day SOAP challenge. 15 minutes a day, no excuses. 2. Subscribe to The Biblical Man for access to Justin's powerful audio Bible. 3. Start with the Gospels. Let the words of Christ himself cut through the noise. 4. Share your journey. Let's build a community of men truly seeking God's voice. Remember, "Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God" (Romans 10:17 KJV). Whether you're reading or listening, make God's Word a daily part of your life. Are you ready to trade your second-hand faith for a first-hand encounter with the living God? The journey of true discipleship awaits. Let's roll, soldiers of Christ. The battle for authentic faith begins now. The Biblical Man is a reader-supported publication. 7. After the Flood: A Grandfather's Journey Through Loss and Love

After the Flood: A Grandfather's Journey Through Loss and Love

The rain fell in sheets, pounding against the windows of Danny Ayers' weathered farmhouse. But it wasn't the storm that kept him awake that night. It was the deafening silence of his son's empty room down the hall. Danny Ayers stared at the muddy waters receding from his front yard, his calloused hands gripping a chipped mug of coffee gone cold. The morning sun struggled to pierce the haze of destruction left by Hurricane Helene, casting an eerie glow over the once-familiar landscape of Yancey County. Just three days ago, those same waters had swallowed his son Stephen and daughter-in-law whole, leaving behind only memories and an eight-year-old girl with eyes too old for her young face. "Grandpa?" A small voice broke through Danny's reverie. He turned to see his granddaughter, Sarah, clutching a worn teddy bear to her chest. Her hair was a mess of tangled curls, so much like her father's it made Danny's heart ache. "Hey, sweet pea," he managed, forcing a smile that didn't quite reach his eyes. "How about some breakfast?" As Danny fumbled through the unfamiliar routine of caring for a child - burnt toast, spilled juice, and all - he couldn't shake the feeling that he was an impostor in his own life. The grief sat heavy in his chest, a constant reminder of all he'd lost. But there was work to be done. Burnsville needed rebuilding, and Sarah needed... well, everything. Danny laced up his mud-caked boots and took Sarah's tiny hand in his. Together, they stepped out into the wreckage of their town, ready to face whatever came next. The streets of Burnsville were a maze of debris and despair. Overturned cars littered the roads like discarded toys, while uprooted trees lay sprawled across once-manicured lawns. The air hung thick with the acrid smell of wet wood and something else - something Danny didn't want to name. As they made their way downtown, Sarah's grip on Danny's hand tightened. Her eyes darted from one pile of rubble to another, searching for something familiar in the chaos. "Where's the ice cream shop?" she asked, her voice small and uncertain. Danny's throat tightened. "It's... it's gone, sweetheart. But we'll build it back. Better than ever." The words felt hollow, even to him. But as he looked down at Sarah's upturned face, he saw a flicker of hope in her eyes. It was enough to keep him moving forward. They spent the day clearing debris from Mrs. Johnson's yard two blocks over. Sarah insisted on helping, her small hands struggling with branches too big for her to lift. Danny watched her, marveling at her resilience. She was so much like Stephen - determined, stubborn, and kind to her core. As the sun began to set, casting long shadows across the ravaged town, Danny and Sarah made their way back home. The silence between them was comfortable now, filled with the weight of shared grief and newfound understanding. That night, as Danny tucked Sarah into bed - his bed, because hers was still buried under a fallen oak - she looked up at him with those too-old eyes. "Grandpa," she whispered, "are we gonna be okay?" Danny paused, the weight of her question settling on his shoulders like a physical thing. He thought of Stephen, of the life they'd lost, of the uncertain future stretching out before them. But then he looked at Sarah - this miracle child who'd survived when her parents hadn't - and he knew his answer. "Yeah, sweet pea," he said, his voice rough with emotion. "We're gonna be just fine." As he turned out the light, Danny realized that the silence in the house didn't feel quite so oppressive anymore. In its place was something new - something that felt a lot like hope. The road ahead was long and treacherous, but Danny Ayers was ready to face it. After all, he wasn't just rebuilding a town. He was building a new life for Sarah - and for himself. And that, he realized, was worth everything. The Biblical Man is a reader-supported publication. To receive new posts and support my work, consider becoming a free or paid subscriber.
