Dr. Cynthia is sharing 3 - 4 takeaways from a Teacher workshop at VATFACS Conference 2024 (Virginia Association for Teachers of Family and Consumer Sciences) Themed: We are FCS Educators, What’s Your Superpower? Dr. Cynthia held a workshop called 'Unleash Your Superpower: Your Key to Unlocking Your Next Journey' As school is about start for the new school year. I want to share some takeaways from this conference workshop. It is so rewarding to walk with Educators through their personal and professional journey. Disruption in the Community

This episode is talking about the recent increase in violence in our communities and the country. It is not an intense discussion just an awareness discussion from Dr. Cynthia's perspective on some triggers of why there is a increase in violence and looking with an open mind that there is not just one reason why this is happening.
