As humans, we're naturally wired and inclined to see the NEGATIVE when something challenging, unexpected, or irritating shows up in our life experience.  We might also immediately want this unexpected or challenging thing (or person, situation, etc) to GO AWAY - which is a completely normal human reaction. But that resistance, of course, typically makes things worse.
