HANNS TRAPP - Christmas Demon of Alsace-Lorraine

Hanns Trapp is a dark Christmas figure from Alsace and parts of Germany who is said to be the evil spirit of a rich, cruel nobleman who tried to rob the Christ child. According to legend, he now appears during Christmas dressed in straw and rags to terrorize children who misbehave, sometimes threatening to eat them.
