Episode 52 – Enfield Poltergeist Part One ‘On Thursday 1st September 1977 at approximately 1 a.m., I was on duty in my capacity as a policewoman, when I received a radio message to 284 Green Street, Enfield. I went to this address where I found a number of people standing in the living room. Our last 'From The Vault' episode before Season 6 launches on Friday 6th September. ‘Making sure their parents were asleep, the two 17-year-olds quietly left their homes with their tent, sleeping bags and other bits and pieces, and drove to a secluded spot. At around midnight, they'd found the perfect place to camp, so began pitching their tent and getting comfortable. It wasn't long after this that they both thought they heard something moving around in close proximity to their tent … They kept still and quiet, and continued to listen, but this was when the sounds of movement changed into the sounds of very definite footsteps ... there was someone in the forest with them.’ Content warning: Contains distressing details of child abduction cases from the 1960s linked to the area.
