Don't Plagiarize this! Do you copy?

How do Christians navigate the balance between telling the same story and not using the same words? Is plagiarism a morally objectionable activity? Are those who currently object to plagiarism really motivated by a hatred of plagiarism or do they have other motivations? Is it really possible to present the gospel without duplicating the words?
