Portland Trailblazers TV analyst and former Oregon State basketball star Lamar Hurd had a dream of playing in the NBA. On The Give Me a Sense podcast, Hurd shares his story of moving away from home in the 6th grade to dedicate his life to the game. His journey found him turning down Baylor after committing, landing at Oregon State and having what he describes as a “rollercoaster” career in college. Lamar played overseas and when he was on the verge of potentially making the NBA, he walked away to coach kids.
