Happy Birthday Eve! - Nicholas Byrne remembers fellow hometown neighbor and alumna Eve Carson

The Eve Carson Scholarship was established in 2008 to celebrate junior-year students who have exhibited passion and transformative growth since matriculation at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
As the living legacy of former Student Body President Eve Carson, the scholarship fulfills the vision for a student-run merit scholarship she included in her platform.
The Eve Carson Scholarship champions scholars to write stories they wouldn’t otherwise be able to write. A committed executive board works to create a community that binds individual scholar experiences into a larger narrative of passion and personal development. At its core, Eve Carson Scholarship seek to be great, but always remember to be good.
