Wahpasiw is Assistant Professor at the University of Prince Edward Island, in the Faculty of Arts and the Faculty of Education, and has written about Indigenous feminism and about how Indigenous design-thinking can inform architecture in a 'new-old' way. Wahpasiw is a policy analyst, facilitator and presenter on Indigenous historical issues, and has worked with the Federation of Sovereign Indigenous Nations.
