How to Have a Smooth Experience With Property Transitions in Separation/Divorce

Robyn and her partner Cheryl Koffman have a real estate business where they do all the usual real estate transactions and uniquely specialize in helping clients who are going through divorce or separation and there is real estate is involved. Regulating the Nervous System to Gain Relief from Trauma

Regulating the Nervous System to Gain Relief from Trauma

My special guest today Sarah Hart knows all too well the effects of trauma and has taken what she has learned and applied to her own healing to now help others on their healing journey.

Sarah is passionate about learning as well as spreading knowledge that helps people find growth out of their dark places in order for them to find empowerment in their own healing process. She blends the world of yoga with the science of the nervous system and bases her work off of Dr. Stephen Porges Polyvagal Theory focusing on a root cause approach to healing. She assists people in evolving out of their pain by utilizing yogic teachings and breathwork techniques aimed at nervous system regulation. Sarah does this through educating people about the importance of their nervous system, the role it plays in their experience of life as well as its relationship to the disruption, distress and suffering that stems from trauma.

Sarah is a Trauma-Informed Yoga Teacher & Life Coach and started her business Evolve to teach people how to set themselves free from emotional pain and suffering. She strongly believes that true healing is possible for everyone no matter what you have been through in life. With knowledge, determination and the right tools, we can all transmute our greatest pain into our greatest strength.

Join us for this really informative episode where you will learn:

What happens to your nervous system when you’re in a triggered state.
How your nervous system literally controls your experience of life and what to do to calm it when triggered.
The connection between the mind and the body when experiencing nervous system disregulation.
The deep effects of doing breathwork.

The Loop of 'D' Words That Keep Us Stuck

The Loop of 'D' Words That Keep Us Stuck

I identified a series of feelings that all start with the letter 'D' that can keep us in a really dangerous loop of hopelessness. This came out of my own recent experience with this and also from hearing similar situations from clients and others in my life. Tune in to see if you have also had this experience. In this episode you will learn:

The 4 elements of this dark cycle - all beginning with 'D'.
Unchecked where this cycle can lead and it's not a very nice place.
How I got unstuck and helped me escape the loop.

If you identified with this and would like to share your experience, please reach out to me.

Ask Lia Anything! Your Questions Answered

Ask Lia Anything! Your Questions Answered

The question I'm answering today is: Why Can't I let go of the anger and hurt from things that happened in the past?

I get variations of this question as well asking how to let go of resentment, fear, guilt, shame and other difficult feelings. The common aspect to all of these is that they always refer to something that already happened and that cannot be changed. So what can change? In my answer you will hear:

The top reasons that we hold onto to these feelings.
The best strategy I've ever heard to let go of what you cannot control.
The #1 thing you have to embrace to truly move on from past hurts.

If this episode resonated with you or inspired to shift your thinking, I would love to hear from you. Or any feedback you have is always welcomed.
