On August 25, 2020, Kyle Rittenhouse, a 17-year-old from Antioch, Illinois, fatally shot two men and wounded another who were attacking him in Kenosha, Wisconsin during the protests, riots, and civil unrest. His trial ended this week being found NOT Guilty on all charges. The case which centered on the right to self-defense was used as a political weapon by many in the media.
