Today we have Rhode Island’s own, pizza artist Eric John. His family’s D. Palmieri’s Bakery has been in the family since way back in 1905 and is truly an American story. Always thriving, even a fire couldn’t keep the family business out of business. Always loving comedy and music, it was almost accidental Eric discovering his passion for making pizza art. What started as a making some America Flag pizzas on July 4th led to a whole new endeavor. We talk family, we talk comedy, we talk pizza, we talk his George Carlin pizza.

Today we have Northeast Ohio’s own, Alice Always from the Put a Fork In It show with her husband, Adam, and the Scissor Me Timbers show with Jessica Fenske aka Forest Mommy, both on YouTube / Rumble. From a large family with four siblings in some ways Alice really did have two childhoods, with the latter version being much more challenging into her teens as her dad fell ill with Multiple sclerosis -- and she herself was the very unfortunate victim of abuse. But Alice’s story is an inspiring one of perseverance, and she tells me all about her siblings and her own kids, but also all about her loving parents, Mary and Frank.

Toronto, Canada's own, NFT (non-fungible token) entrepreneur "Fresh Bueller" (we get into the origins of that moniker), had a childhood of being a smart kid but also someone who got into some trouble along the way. Eventually Fresh found his way into the music business, just like his grandfather, singer Hank Young. To Fresh though, Hank was just "Pappy” and someone he loved spending summers with in nature outside Ottawa. Aron Lam is originally from Huntington, West Virginia and is now mayor of Keenesburg, Colorado. Aron tells me of his journey from humble redneck roots to his life in nursing as he eventually headed West. Aron is a family man with a huge heart who deeply cares about family and community and has seen so much tragedy firsthand both in his family and professional life. Yet he perseveres, and that perseverance has definitely been inspired by his Grandpa "Paw" who never let any of life's setbacks get in the way of living life to the fullest.
