On the top shelf, Mike shares a significant win, so clap for him, and apparently proposal anniversaries are a thing. On the bottom shelf, we touch on Kanye’s mental state and how rona still isn’t letting up!

For this week’s Beer and Wine we talk about the Megan Thee Stallion and Tory Lanez debacle. Everybody has jokes but she real life got shot! Do black people get a pass to make jokes when someone else is hurting? Do celebs really need to have guns themselves, if they have security?! But at the end of the day, the moral of the story is “Stay in the house”!!

Instead of a listener question we revisit last week’s Beer and Wine which is now known as the “Entanglement”. Had we known then what we know now, our last episode would have been different! Tune in to hear what changed our minds.

On the top shelf we speak on the hilarious trolling TI has been doing to get 50Cent to battle him on Verzuz, self-care, and a cookout on the 4th which happened to be in July. On the bottom shelf, we can’t help but be saddened by the senseless violence that claimed the lives of several young children over the last weekend. 

This week’s Beer and Wine is the hottest topic on the internet, or maybe just on the black podcast circuit; the alleged August Alsina and Jada Pinkett-Smith situationship. Is the Smith reputation at risk behind this? Tune in to hear our thoughts on whether loose lips sink ships! 

The listener or “user” question asked our thoughts on 50Cent being 50Cent and his recent comments about his desire for “exotic” women and downplaying black women in the process. Listen in to hear our thoughts...

Pour a drink, take a sip, this round is on us! On the top shelf this week, Juneteenth was lit, Fathers Day was good for the dads and apparently the non-dads too. On the bottom shelf are “Foody calls” and Rona; it’s still lingering and blocking, so keep wearing your masks!! 

For Beer and Wine we discuss the relationship timeline; what’s appropriate and what’s just commitment phobia. A post we came across had an 11 and a half year timeline from talking to marriage so we share our thoughts on that and what we think is a good timeline. Mike shares how he accidentally became someone’s bae. We talk about the pre-marriage phase, adjusting to sharing, “making system updates” with your partner,  and not sweating the small stuff. 

This weeks listener question is, “what is too far when it comes to flirting while in a relationship?”. Are y’all out here in these work DMs with your work wife or work husband? Listen in to hear our thoughts...

Our country is in disarray and a change seems like it might be coming, in baby steps!

In this episode, for the top shelf, we share some laughter through the pain out in these rona streets and then there’s some extra cheap Vladimir vodka on the bottom shelf as we talk about the lows of the week.

Given all that has occurred and been revealed since the last episode, during this weeks’ Beer and Wine we share more of our thoughts about the current state of affairs since George Floyd’s filmed murder and some progression that’s seeming to come from the ongoing protests. We touch on people showing their true colors, the NFL backtracking, the Justice in Policing Act of 2020, “defunding“ the police or “reallocating“ the funding, community policing, and what if top black athletes chose HBCU’s?

Wowwww it’s our first full episode and there’s a lot of questionable activity going on, so we dive right in! Starting with our top and bottom shelf segments through the tipsy thoughts listener questions, we dissect a lot of “doin the most” moments. People are really acting like rona’ just packed up and left and these police...we’re tired of being tired!!

For Beer and Wine we talk about the effects of colorism on dating; and whether it can be chalked up to preference.  Mike even shares a story about when he got shutdown for being “dark skin” but not for “heightism”.
