On this weekly episode, I had to come to terms with the fact that I was a very controlling person. This has been a personal struggle over the years. I had to ask myself why I have such a strong desire to control things and why I am so controlling when I am in relationships. Balance means that we can fully engage in what we need or want to do without that guilt or worry. We have to truly understand our own boundaries and needs so that we have the freedom to pursue all the various roles and
identities we have or want to have in life.
I had my first major surgery seven days before my thirty-fourth birthday. Often, we talk about the physical pain, But the mental duress was very intense. Being injured and working through the recovery process. There are days when I am exhausted, frightened, and frustrated. When I got home, I felt isolated, depressed, angry, fearful, sad, and ashamed. Feeling out of control
