The 3 Tips!

This is the ONLY podcast I will listen to. Jay is so spot on with his training advice and every episode is interspersed with tons of interesting nutritional and wellbeing info. Even though he frequently segways into hip hop chatter and I’m a metalhead I stay totally engaged knowing that he brings the passion for this subject in the same way I feel for metal. And any time you need a course correction listen to Episode 422!
Thank you Jay for being the guiding light you are bro. Legend.
PS, here’s a question. If having more muscle chews up more calories just existing, why are people with lots of body fat encouraged to drop to 12% BF before trying to add lean mass? Why not just build up first to speed up fat loss further down the track? If you’re already a Chubster what’s a bit longer to wait? Cheers, Scotti

Finally getting around to review

Jay, I bet you get this all the time but here goes… I’ve been subscribed to your pod for 6 or 7 years now and still take something out of each episode whether it’s a laugh or a training tip or a new mindset I’m always grateful for the unfiltered perspective you give.
A couple years ago I recall you mentioning the challenging relationship you had with your dad which ultimately had other influences on your life. I can definitely relate. Apologies if you’ve covered this in detail before but I’d love to hear you unpack this subject a bit more.

I love Jay's podcast, having been listening for a few years. He drops tonnes of info, doesn't get caught up in his own ego when he interviews someone, he just keeps it logical and simple - but you know that simplicity is borne out of 20+ years of working as a trainer. I really like it when he is interviewing-chatting with his old contacts. It's like being a fly on the wall of a really interesting conversation....and I love the solo podcasts where he basically answers questions from his audience. Highly recommend this podcast for your knowledge around fitness and health and late 80's/early 90s hip hop hahaha.. Keep it up Jay.
