Today, we continue the conversation with an erotic artist. I know, you can’t imagine me interviewing someone with this resume – but wait till you hear the whole story and you will understand why I had to bring her journey to the light of day!
Anita Nevar taught herself art in 2011 where she achieved international acclaim through various books and magazines, adorned the walls in the Big Brother TV series and was the face of Sydney LGBTQ Mardi Gras. But it was what going on a couple years prior to this that makes it so incredible…
Raised in a cult here in Australia, she ended up marrying a man 13yrs older than her and birthing her two daughters. In 1999, after enduring 9yrs with this abusive man, she rounded up her 3 & 5yr old girls in the middle of the night and bolted from the only life she knew into an UNKOWN world which she’d only ever been taught was EVIL!
So, as a solo Mum, she started fresh and began building a new life. Spending 10yrs with another man and having her third child, she continued to uncover new pieces of herself as she shed the wounds of the past. With her art, she is bold, brash and not afraid to test the boundaries – a far cry from where she came from. I can’t wait to discover how that transformation actually happened…

A visual artist of passion with an affinity for the erotic/retro/pop art world, an obsession with colour and a mantra for 'No Rules'. Anita's detailed work reflects the perfection of the human hand and inspires re-evaluating reliance on digital mediums.
A powerhouse of many hats, she's bold, brash, and not afraid to test the boundaries in the name of art! In front of the canvas, Anita creates seductive timeless pieces to titillate your senses. In front of the lens, she becomes the muse of other creatives capturing the power in embracing our sexuality and skin!
A self-taught artist having achieved international success since humble beginnings in 2001, Anita's work has graced the pages of various books and magazines, was selected to adorn the walls in a Big Brother TV Series, became the face for Sydney LGBTQ Mardi Gras gallery promotions, toured nationally with Sexpo as their resident erotic artist, and exhibited at Oz Kink Fest... amongst other saucy adventures!
Anita's original canvas paintings and fine art reproductions are now popular with savvy art lovers, interior designers, and avid collectors worldwide. Private commissions are also accommodated.
