My go to podcast on reading and writing

Thanks Cheryl for the effort you put into this podcast week in and out, and to your fascinating guests who share their stories with great generosity. This has become one of my favourite podcasts. I love the format and your well informed interview style which ensures the conversations are well paced and interesting.

I enjoyed the interviews and the very intimate setting but Cheryl's interviewing style was not for me. She talked too much of herself, not allowing the authors to talk and didn't do much research before the interviews. The poor interviewing was obvious. I didn't mind her political rants. Just the lack of skilled interviewing and personalising it was a bit much for me. When there are so many other podcasts with author interviews, I preferred not to waste my time.

Great podcast for lovers of books

For an avid reader I thoroughly enjoy listening to this podcast, even if its an author who I have not read yet. The "On Writing" was especially interesting and would love to hear more of that special series. Hopefully there will be some more in the future. Keep up the good work.
