Everything is fine and dandy in Wendell. There's nothing off-putting or strange at all. Why would you even ask that? Don't ask questions. But after some unnerving encounters with the local radio announcer and an influential farmer, newcomer Gabe Rodriguez can't help but ask questions. Questions like, is that talking scarecrow completely psychotic, or am I? Listen to the soundtrack: https://open.spotify.com/album/6TBSaPuTSB1d49mqIq6u29?si=l9RC3HMQSBG5mGOv5DeB9g

An idyllic town
Radioland is a high calibre production, where you are immediately captivated by it’s intriguing storyline .
The premise of the idyllic ‘Stars Hollow’ type town where all is not as it seems, is not new. The quality of this audio drama is enough to encourage further listening.
Fate has lead Gabe to the town of Wendall. He is quickly befriended & embraced by the townsfolk.
Gabe, like most of us , finds the surface perfection of the wholesome quaint & welcoming town of Wendell somewhat unsettling. It triggers his memories of the movie footloose. The local radio station has great significance. Keeping the entire community informed of the goings on in the lives of Wendall inhabitants is not it’s only purpose.
Gabe looks upon his arrival as an unexpected short stay. But the Wendall residents appear to think otherwise.
I particularly appreciated the underpinning theme of ‘choice & free will’. How ‘freedom’ is a concept that is deeply imbedded into our psyche & is paramount.
The unique aspects of Radioland is the inclusion of poetry & musical interludes.
The poetry has emotive & beautiful language. The music is perfectly matched. These snippets are certainly appreciated.
The overall vibe & atmosphere that Radioland generates is engaging & relaxing. It certainly provided quality entertainment. Highly Recommended.
I hope to encourage the Radioland team by sparking your motivation to continue to deliver more episodes of this Saga.
