    014: Talking About Mental Toughness

    014: Talking About Mental Toughness

In this episode Dan sits down with Tim who has just come back from a conference exploring Mental Toughness featuring Doug Strycharczyk from AQR International and Dr John Perry - an academic and expert in Mental Toughness. Mental toughness is a well-evidenced concept supported by a mass of academic research (80+papers) as well as practitioner applications which demonstrate real and sustainable value.
Given that these benefits have been found to be particularly true in coaching and leadership development and impacts on wellbeing, performance, agility and aspirations we thought you might find it interesting to listen in as Tim debriefed with Dan about the conference.

Great new podcast - important and interesting conversations

Enjoying this new podcast and am sharing with friends and colleagues. Episode 2’s interview with Carol Dweck about Growth Mindset was particularly valuable for me -an important topic for anyone working in education and leadership . Episode 3 was wonderfully inspiring to hear how a relationship based and innovative approach turned a school in crisis right around - a reminder it’s necessary to have courage and break away from tradition to do good. Thanks to the creators-looking forward to more great listening.
