What To Do If You’ve Raised A Slob

What To Do If You’ve Raised A Slob

"My teen son and daughter don’t seem to be able to pick up a towel to save their life. Or close the cabinet after they use them, wipe up a spill or refill the water jug." This is the (very relatable) dilemma a listener emailed to us this week. So is it possible to get your teen to clean up after themselves? Ginni and Jo's answer might surprise you.

Plus, we take a closer look at Borderline Personality Disorder, and what it's like to love someone experiencing it.

How The F*ck Do I Stop My Kid From Swearing?

When Your Mother-In-Law Won’t Butt Out

When Your Mother-In-Law Won’t Butt Out

When it comes to parenting, everyone has an opinion. But what if those unwanted opinions are coming from a family member, and they won't just butt out? That's the dilemma a listener is dealing with this week, so Ginni and Jo discuss setting boundaries, and whether we can pick and choose when we get input from our family.

Plus, we hear from a loving mum in a blended family who has taken a rural job away from her daughters, and wants them to pick where they live. But is that actually a good idea?

When Your ‘Woke’ Teen Turns On You

When Your ‘Woke’ Teen Turns On You

"I’m sick of being treated like an idiot when I don’t know something or get it wrong." This is what a listener wrote to us this week, about her opinionated teens who talk down to her. So how can she change their fights into dialogues, while still encouraging them to continue thinking for themselves?

Plus, Ginni and Jo hear from a mum who's teen daughter's periods are so bad she's missing school, and needs to know if there might be something more serious causing the pain.

Not great

Hmm calling a 13 year old swearing as cute ? Terrible advice - boring show.

So good, so helpful!

Loved Ginni and Jo - not enough conversations for parents with tween and teens - this is really brilliant 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
