Irreverent, sometimes explicit and always provocative, this is the only opera podcast you need - be prepared to laugh, cry and be offended (not too much though!) and learn a lot about our favourite artform along the way!

I discovered the podcast a few months ago. I love it. What a refreshing change. I haven't caught up with current episodes and don't expect to for some time - I'm having too much fun replaying the shows! You don't need to be an opera fanatic to appreciate what this team (and part-time contributors) delivers; genuinely valuable information (Oliver, don't stop) delivered with with wit and panache. Even those, like me, who prefer particular genres (baroque? who needs it!) will discover that singing excellence and pleasure resides in all fach and aspects of opera. Long may they reign.
