The best podcast for Victims of Crime
You guys are amazing. I have been listening from the very beginning. Jim you are the most beautiful person and service to victims of crime astounds me. Ladies Laura you are my SHERO I am in awe of your compassion and dedication to victims being at the forefront of your thoughts on every case you are involved with. You have inspired me at the age of 57 to go back to my dreams of doing all I can with helping people in situations of Domestic Violence. I have decided to dedicate the rest of my days in service to eradicating the insidious crime. As I have lived it as a child and survived. Lisa you are such a valuable host as you ask the questions I want to ask and understand why. Laura & Jim thank you for your service.
A bit sad
I was quite enjoying this podcast until I listened to the interview with Andrea Dunlop and the Take care of Maya story. The way she was treated by both of you, Jim in particular, was nothing short of disgusting. Regardless of how you feel about her opinion on the subject, the way you spoke to a GUEST of your show was so disrespectful. Jim’s tone was scary, intimidating and belittling. I am actually floored that you have allowed this episode to go to air. For someone who generally champions women, I’m sorry, this is HIGHLY disappointing.
Omg
What a shame that a great show is so bogged down by the relentless, disapproving, man-hating, judgemental, bullying rants of the droning female host. I’ve never heard anything like it. Make your point then move on. Laura repeats and repeats and repeats - always with a tone that the whole world is wrong except for her. It’s unbearable to listen to.
