Rotten Apple

They were the town heroes, the people who dominate every sphere and rule every room. But the rot set in when they used their power to groom whole communities and hurt the most vulnerable. How did they go undetected for so long? And why were credible reports buried for so many years? From Tasmania and beyond, this podcast series reveals the conditions these bad apples need to thrive across communities and what happens to the whistleblowers who refuse to look the other way. This podcast series is written and researched by Camille Bianchi and Amelia Saw.

Binge worthy

I haven’t binged a podcast for a long time, but I couldn’t stop listening to this one.
Wow

You know this has gone on in the past but wow this really brings it home. It’s so well done and although difficult to get your head around how and why people do this it’s something that we all need to acknowledge
Great potential

This should have been an outstanding true crime podcast. It’s well researched etc, but the delivery is incredibly poor. It jumps from narration to what I have to assume is AI generated quotes or excerpts with little to no explanation, context, read way too quickly with no properly constructed sentences.
This podcast is great

Unfortunately in small towns in Tasmania there is still a very strong mindset that you should keep your mouth shut and not rock the boat even if people are being harmed. I applaud you whistleblowers. It can’t have been easy to come forward.
