Shaming The Attention Seeker

The Jessie Williams Podcast

We’ve all labeled someone an attention seeker at some point in our life, but have we ever looked deeper to see what this means about us? The truth is we all want attention…We all want affection, to be loved and praised, to be acknowledged and seen. So why do we shame the attention seeker?

Jessie believes a big factor for success is being able to take up space and be the ‘attention seeker’. Because let’s face it, opportunities don’t get handed to us on a silver platter, so learning to hold that language with neutral emotions and be the centre of attention is life changing! Let’s reevaluate where we shame others for taking up space, and clock ourselves and where we are lacking to take up space.
