She is a world leading researcher in EFT or tapping as it also know and has establsihed herself as one of Australia's leading online Health Professionals.
Her research focuses on psychological trials into new therapies in the area of obesity and weight management.
One of her most significant contributions in her life has been to lead world-first randomised clinical trials investigating the effectiveness of EFT.
Dr. Peta Stapleton runs a series of workshop trainings throughout Australia teaching Allied Health Professionals and Teachers EFT Tapping and is co-founder of Mind Heart Connect, an event which raises awareness of the mind-body connection through evidence based practices.
Dr. Peta Stapleton has released her latest book - The Science Behind Tapping and is a Hay House Author.
Her latest book, The Science Behind Tapping: A Proven Stress Management brings together the history and cutting-edge research on tapping.  She also shares how tapping can be used for a whole host of ailments, including anxiety, weight issues, depression, trauma and more.
Dr. Stapleton's own groundbreaking study involving food cravings in overweight adults helped establish EFT as an effective , valid for of therapy.
