Surviving breast cancer

Last Drinks

In this episode of Last Drinks, Maz talks to The Alcohol Mindset Coach, Kathryn Elliott. Kath lives in Melbourne, Australia with her husband, three sons and much-loved cocker spaniel and believes too much time in our lives are spent in our heads and not our hearts. Humans crave connection, community, love and belonging. Drinking excessively, unconsciously and mindlessly takes us away from ourselves and our true nature.

Kath's story is a big story.

A mega AFL fan, Kath now watches sports sober and is keen to disrupt the narrative that booze and sport are intertwined. Kath is also a breast cancer survivor and we discuss the lack of information regarding the cancer risks that alcohol consumption is known to pose.
