Dan Harris is a fidgety, skeptical ABC newsman who had a panic attack live on Good Morning America, which led him to something he always thought was ridiculous: meditation. He wrote the bestselling book, "10% Happier," started an app -- "10% Happier: Meditation for Fidgety Skeptics" -- and now, in this podcast, Dan talks with smart people about whether there's anything beyond 10%. Basically, here's what this podcast is obsessed with: Can you be an ambitious person and still strive for enlightenment (whatever that means)? New episodes every Wednesday morning.

Change your attitude and you change your life

I fell a bit in love with Dan Harris after listening to his podcast with Peter Attia. Then I heard him as a guest of Peter Attia’s podcast and love him just that little bit more. The courage of two men to share some of their inner thoughts that we all have but few people admit to, is admirable and attractive.

Many thanks for the openness (want to say vulnerability but I know how Dan feels about those types of words) and the work you do. I have greatly benefitted from being a 10% happier user.

Insightful info

Really appreciated Jennifer Ashton’s session. I’m sure she helped others in the grip of the devastation of suicide. As I am trying to get some understanding of what suicide victims experience, I have found this really insightful.
