#33 Pedestrian: How Chris Wirasinha Created Australia’s Largest Youth News Site That Sold For $100 Million
You’re gonna love my next guest, Chris Wirasinha, Co-Founder of Pedestrian and Linkby. Pedestrian is a youth targeted news and entertainment website - if you’re in Australia, I’m sure you’ve read Pedestrian articles or seen their content on socials! Pedestrian hit $20m of revenue and $9m of profit in their final year of running the business, before selling it to Nine at a valuation of $100m. (Btw - those margins are incredible!)
More recently in 2020, Chris co-founded Linkby which allows brands to get featured on news and lifestyle publications on a pay-for-performance model. In just over 3 years, they’ve grown to processing $30m of annualised revenue with net revenue of $9m. Strap in for an amazing episode, Chris is an OG from the Sydney entrepreneurs scene and is super insightful

#32 Hismile: How Nik Mirkovic and Alex Tomic Built a $1 Billion Empire Through Innovation and Social Media
Our next guests are on track to make a billion dollars over the next 12 months! Just under years ago 10 years ago, Nik Mirkovic and Alex Tomic started Hismile by selling at home teeth whitening kits by being early adopters of Instagram and Influencer marketing.
Today, through constant innovation and a focus on research and development, they have built out their range to disrupt the previously stagnant oral care industry. They’ve taken on the giants like Colgate and Crest and are now stocked in over 20k stores including Coles, Woolies, Walmart, CVS, Boots UK, and are on track for 40,000 retail doors by the end of 2024.
We also chatted about their amazing marketing strategies including nailing TikTok with over 4 million followers as well as working with Kim Kardashian. Super fascinating convo! I'm super sorry about the audio - as we're in different states, the boys couldn't join me in person! But you'll be sure to enjoy what they have to say regardless 3

#31 Frank Body: How Bree Johnson & Jess Hatzis Turned a Coffee Scrub From Their Kitchen Bench Into a $100 Million Business
Frank Body is the OG instagram skincare brand that pioneered what can be achieved for a direct to consumer brand using the power of social media and branding.
But what’s even more impressive is their ability to evolve the brand, beyond being “that instagram coffee scrub” to become such a major player in the skincare industry, and to have achieved longevity and so much growth in this time.
Frank Body was valued at $100 million dollars at their last raise and has recently launched in over 4000 Walmart stores and is stocked in 7,600 stores globally!
Jess and Bree are truly experts in branding and social media and this was such a fun chat.

#30 Jimmy Brings: How David Berger Built 3x 8-Figure Businesses & Revolutionised On-Demand Delivery
As you may know, I am super lazy so I’m a big fan of on-demand delivery products. Today's guest - David Berger has built 3 incredible businesses in this space!
The most notable being of course, Jimmy Brings. Yes David is also the face of Jimmy Brings that you’ll probably know from their on-demand alcohol delivery vans.
But incredibly David also co-founded Suppertime, which is the OG food delivery service that brought you food from a restaurant at a time when all you could order, was directly from your local Thai and pizza joint.
And now David is the Co-CEO of Milkrun, which delivers groceries in minutes.
He is truly an expert in the space of on-demand delivery with all 3 businesses having achieved 8-figures in revenue. He’s had such an incredible journey, being first to market in his space. Alright, let’s get into it!

#29 SWIISH: How Sally Obermeder & Maha Corbett Turned an Idea Into a Wellness Empire
On today's episode - I got to chat to the dynamic sister duo Sally Obermeder and Maha Corbett, the co-founders of the wellness and now skincare brand, SWIISH.
The story of how the business came about is so inspiring - Sally was 40 weeks pregnant when she found out she had stage 3 breast cancer, and then 6 months later mid way through her chemo treatments, she called Maha and said we need to do something that helps people feel amazing.
From there, the journey to SWIISH started, but there’s a lot more to it which I’ll let Sally and Maha tell you about.
With a focus on innovation and being first to market, SWIISH leads the way in the wellness supplements space.
I absolutely love these girls, this was such a fun chat, and so inspiring.

#28 The Oodie: How Davie Fogarty Turned $500 Into $500 Million in Just 5 Years
Today’s guest is none other than my fellow Shark from the Tank, Davie Fogarty!
Davie is the Founder of Davie Group which owns multiple brands, the most notable being of course The Oodie, which has made over $500 million in 5 years. That’s half a billion dollars and he’s still in his 20s! He’s so friggin impressive and smart and wise beyond his years.
It’s been so great to get to know him through Shark Tank, and now we’re co-investing in businesses together! Trust me this is such an amazing episode and Davie has such a wealth of knowledge in e-comm and marketing.
