Our guest this episode is Todd Morse, a veteran musician of punk and rock scenes on both coasts of America and the bassist for The Offspring. Todd also releases solo material with a rootsy/Americana vibe and fronts the coverband Petty Cash with a crew of his bandmates from The Licks. Check out his 2019 solo album, Late Bloomer, or his multiple singles he's released since. Todd plans to record and release another solo album by the end of 2024. Let's make sure to hold him to that!

Ep 262 Tim DiJulio (Lazy Susan/Duff McKagan/Stereo Embers)

Ep 262 Tim DiJulio (Lazy Susan/Duff McKagan/Stereo Embers)

Tim DiJulio has been a fixture on the Seattle rock 'n roll scene for decades and leads the charge on many guitar-fueled nights in local clubs. Tim was a member of the first band I saw perform in a club in Seattle in 1993 and I've always looked up to him so it was a great pleasure to host him on this episode of the Couch Riffs Podcast. Most recently, Tim and I have become bandmates playing together in Duff McKagan's solo band in support of his newest album, Lighthouse, which Tim tracked many of the guitars for. I hope you enjoy this episode as much as I enjoyed this time shared with Tim.

Ep 261 Chris Jordan (Sunny Day Real Estate/Spirit Award)

Ep 261 Chris Jordan (Sunny Day Real Estate/Spirit Award)

My guest this episode is Chris Jordan, bassist for the Seattle bands Sunny Day Real Estate and Spirit Award. Chris has been an awesome addition to SDRE since the band's reunion and subsequent touring from 2022 through to today. The month this podcast is released the band will be releasing a live studio re-recording of the SDRE debut, Diary, and it is glorious. It also features an unreleased song from the band, reworked during this session. Be sure to check Sunny Day Real Estate out when they come through town and give the new recording a listen. You won't be sorry.

Ep 260 Corey McCormick (Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real/Neil Young/Chris Cornell/Willie Nelson)

Ep 260 Corey McCormick (Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real/Neil Young/Chris Cornell/Willie Nelson)

This comeback episode we talk to Corey McCormick, bassist in Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real, Willie Nelson, Chris Cornell and none other than Neil Young. Honestly, Corey has my favorite resume of any guest I've had to date. He's an incredibly talented musician and a top-shelf dude. I caught him on a day off in Seattle where Corey was treated to a brief tour of some Seattle spots and then we sat for the podcast. The next day Corey came to Crackle & Pop where he and a group of us tracked a new live cover for Couch Riffs. Corey was phenomenal as was the entire band.
I hope you enjoy this podcast! Catch Corey on tour NOW with Lukas Nelson & Promise Of The Real. And, if you're enjoying Couch Riffs Podcast please support us on Patreon.
