    #159 The Cold Hard Reality of Disney D23 Announcements Past, Present, and Future

    8/9/2024 We recorded this episode shortly after Disney announced some coming additions to the parks back during the early Spring of 2024. I believe it is relevant to the current announcements coming this weekend of August 2024 to D23. People will cheer and claim Disney is finally listening. There will be loud applause and jubilation as the pixie dusted masses will fall all over themselves in worship of the speakers and their response to the industry going ons. But, have we see this before? Has Disney made announcements that never happened or disappointed after their actual execution? This episode is a little bit of reality on this weekend that will likely be filled with overly sweet announcements from a sometimes rudderless and mediocre era within the Disney company.
