    199 - The High Cost of Living

    In this episode, Savannah asks Julie about examples of crossdressing men having to take on additional exchanges when it comes to their gender diversity, from storage units to store their attire to having to lease or rent a completely different residence in order to affect their feminine presentation. When Julie saw the residence as a possible "girls' pad" where the crossdresser can feel free from judgment, Savannah countered with the fact that the partner was being forced to compromise their authenticity in a geographically different and expensive "closet" in order to keep the peace at home.     In this episode, Savannah tells Julie about trying on a pair of sexy panties. In this story, Savannah was suddenly caught in the throes of shame, self0doubt, lack of confidence, fear of judgment, and putting those panties back in the drawer in favor of something more basic. What happens when long-forgotten experiences from earlier in the relationship reverts to a sudden attack of PTSD? In this case, Savannah did some self-analysis, discovered the root of the issue, and was able to have a productive conversation with Judy about how she felt.     194 - The Case of the Sparkly Denim Jacket

    In this episode, Julie brings a recent event to Savannah and to the conversation. While on a shopping trip, a sparkly denim jacket called out to Julie several times, but she hesitated to commit to the purchase. After some internal dialogue, she decided to buy it. Instead of worrying about what others may think or say about the jacket to be worn at a teachers' event, and instead of worrying about tying herself to a specific expected elevated, filled with pizzazz look, Julie listened to that young voice asking to be heard and considered. Sometimes, our inner voices are not just about tantrums and screaming and fear. Sometimes, they just want to be heard and considered.
