I started this podcast to create meaningful conversations about how to create health and prevent chronic disease by applying the principles of functional medicine. Chronic diseases such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, cancer and chronic respiratory diseases are the leading cause of mortality and morbidity in Europe, accounting for 86% of total premature deaths. The biggest culprits for the ever-increasing incidence of chronic diseases are smoking, poor diet, lack of exercise, increased alcohol consumption and environmental factors. This means that as an individual, you have the power to remove these influences out of the equation, so that you can be the healthiest version of you starting today. This is not to say that you will be able to do it all on your own, which is why I am here. In this podcast you will learn about the power of functional medicine, but also the self-healing powers of your own mind and body, and how you can access them.
