I invite you to question your understanding of thanksgiving. I invite you to dig deeper, scratch below the surface, find courage to face the truth. Even the name"thanksgiving" is borrowed let alone the tradition. The stories whitewashed over red of blood spilled.

Are we as a race willing to correct history or are we still believers of "sun going around the earth". Are we so attached to the concept of thanksgiving that we are willing to overlook the hurt the pain the sadness

OR are we ready to raise our consciousness to honor the indigenous and recognize their fight for survival.
