    Lee Trevino's Fighting Golf

This week on 2 Dudes and a NES, we're strapping on our golf gloves and, disappointingly, leaving our boxing gloves at home for "Lee Trevino's Fighting Golf." Yes, you heard it right – despite what the title might suggest, the only hooks and jabs happening here are against our egos when we miss that easy putt. Join us as we share oddly peaceful trivia, and wonder aloud why Lee Trevino isn't throwing uppercuts. We'll invent some "Retro-Fitted Trophies" that Lee himself would chuckle at, and rate the game on everything but its combat system.

Two awesome dudes

I really enjoy this podcast a lot, they don’t take themselves too seriously and they are the kind of dude you want to hang out! Wish they posted more but they have a large back catalog to keep you entertained for a good long while. Appreciate the show gents! Tom Arnold would be impressed.

2 Dudes and a NES rating

I like this podcast and the humour by Michael is hilarious! I gave it 5 stars, but I would give it 10 if it allowed me too. I have a NES of my own that has 30 games preloaded on it, with games like Super C and Metroid along with Tecmo Bowl. Love the NES forever!!!!!!

Metroid - 2014 Podcast

Great show guys. A few things I’d like to chip in about. You mentioned the following downsides to Metroid:

1- There should have been a map
2- There should have been an inventory page
3- A save system should have been prioritized

It is important to know that these options were all discussed but the amount of memory available on the cartridge was 30ko which made it totally impossible to implement any of those options. R&D1 had to find solutions to save space. For example the gun ray is copied and pasted and is facing right even when shot up or left. Also, Sakamoto wanted an animated opening with Samus running, gunning and morph balling but they had to go with the title screen only.

Your podcast is great! Keep on the good work. Simon’s Quest soon?
