Trails For Tomorrow is an Alberta wide organization who are trail stewards that protect and restore sustainable recreational trails for 4wd vehicles across the province. Wes had a great chat with Vill, the new president. We discussed the concept behind the Trails For Tomorrow group, how to become involved, the new membership model and their plans for 2024.

Jeepapalooza is a charity event on Vancouver Island BC that has raised over $175,000 for BC Cancer over the last 10 years. The event is held on the May long weekend and is open to all street legal 4x4's, not just Jeeps.  The festival not only includes guided trail rides, but also live music, food and camping.

The Ontario Federation of 4 Wheel Drive recreationists (OF4WD) are a Provincial umbrella organization comprised of 4×4 clubs and individual members. Wes and Trisha had a chance to talk with 3 long standing members of the OF4WD. There was a variety of topics, including trail maintenance, newbie days, Camp NL, GMRS radio updates and more. Their mandate is to represent the interests of the 4×4 community and ensure the long term sustainability of 4 wheel drive recreation in the province of Ontario. They  work to achieve this through user education, advocacy work and cooperative trail management and maintenance programs.

The Central Ontario Off Road Jeep Club loves all Jeeps! Members range from veterans with modified Jeeps to new Jeep owners that just bought their Jeep. They have a lot of runs including newbie runs where the teach and coach new Jeepers. They are also  involved with the OF4WD and maintain a number of trails. If you own a Jeep, check them out!
