Cinematic Sound Radio - A Soundtrack Podcast / Radio Show Since 1996

I recently discovered the Cinematic Sound Radio podcast, and while I’m happy to have found it, I’m disappointed I did not do so sooner! I recently re-listened to Melodic Treks podcast with Brandon Shea-Mutala and Erik’s debate over which Goldsmith Trek score was better (First Contact or Nemesis - agree with FC though I love Insurrection as well) so that’s how I discovered this show. What a wonderful podcast! I’ve listened to a few of the shows so far and I am currently listening to tribute to Basil Poledouris. Each show that I have listened to is filled with beautiful cinematic scores, excellent information about each piece & composer, trivia about why the composer did or did not create the piece, and excellent intro’s/outro’s for each segment. I mean this in the greatest compliment, Erik’s show & coal stylings sound like CBC Radio Two classical music shows that I listened to growing up. I enjoy movie scores and believe that they are the classical music of our times. Thank you and Bravo! I look forward to starting from the beginning and catching up. 5/5 stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

For me, music is my favorite part of most movies and the thing I remember long after I have seen the film. Cinematic Sound Radio brings some of the BEST music from TV, cinema, and video games directly to you every week in a high quality audio podcast. I really have no reason not to recommend this podcast to music lovers of all stripes; particularly those of us who often enjoy the music as much, if not more than, the movies that feature them. 5/5

I just listened to your heart to heart episode, Erik, and I felt really convicted about the fact that I hadn’t reviewed the show yet. I've loved and listened to movie scores for years and Cinematic Sound Radio does and excellent job of revisting classic scores and introducing the listener to new score discoveries. Covers all new releases as well as excellent dedicated shows to composers such as John Williams and James Horner.
