Why does Nancy always hold social workers responsible? We have very little authority if no authority at all particularly when a judge hands down a judgement. What about the lawyers?!?! What responsibility do you have? The social worker in the Powell case was following the dictates of the court. This worker did not have a choice but to bring the children to their murderer father. As a social worker employed in Canada we are forced to work in a broken system. We are held accountable when the system breaks down. It’s easy to use us as scapegoats.

I like these short ‘slap in the face’ wake up calls with Nancy. I actually like this woman and her passionate response to the crime stories brought to us daily.

A strong woman who says it - like it is ! I love mostly watching the YouTube version because Nancy’s facial expressions are just the best and I know that she is genuinely concerned about the cases that she is talking about! Long time fan, Nancy From another Nancy in 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
