I am one of the Individuals who has Type 2 Diabetes. My type of Diabetes was caused by both genetic and Hormonal problems . I was diagnosed with stage 2 Thyroid Cancer in 2003. I had my entire thyroid, parathyroid and lymph nodes all removed from my neck. I went through 2 years of radioactive Iodine to put the cancer into remission. I was told by surgeons, head nurse, and oncologists that l would develop Diabetes by my 48th or 49th Birthday. It is great to have a Canadian Diabetic Podcasts .
