It’s All Gonna Be Okay (Series Finale)

It’s All Gonna Be Okay (Series Finale)

Well they say all rotten things must come to an end. In this final episode, I have a laid back conversation with my friend, the Pastor of Pump himself, Danny Prada. We talk about our respective journeys, how we have grown as individuals, how DRCK has impacted our lives, and how we feel as it all comes to a close.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for so many wonderful moments. I feel honored to have created this show and thrilled by what it has meant to so many Bad Apples like me.

    Keep up the Dirty Work.
    And remember,
    It’s all gonna be okay.

What I Wish I Knew About Deconstruction

What I Wish I Knew About Deconstruction

On this, second to last DRCK episode, I had the privilege of hanging out with my friend Janice (God Has Not Given! Bad Words! General Menace!) , and new friend Tim (The New Evangelicals!). We discuss the things we would go back and tell ourselves about our personal deconstruction journeys– the good, the bad, the dogmatic. We also discuss platform culture, how we feel about worship music, and play a game of Youth Group or Boy Band.

Joy and Rage

As someone far along the path of deconstruction I don’t usually seek out conversations on topics I’ve already processed. DRCK is the exception. Raw, insightful, and funny as divine judgement. DRCK brings the joy and rage of humanity back into spaces we’ve been told are too hallowed to question. They’re the muddy footprints on a marble floor reminding you that you’re not alone in here, and that having dirty feet is 100% normal and great actually.
