44 episodes

Having been described by the press as “occasionally hard-to-follow,” “as chaotic as they are iconic,” and “going through it,” the band MUNA started this podcast with the hope of providing not only more income, but also rare insight into the behavior of queers outside of the month of June.

Join the band and their special guests as they gab about our personal lives, music, what they like to eat, the TV they watch, intergenerational trauma, and of course their search for answers in the case of a missing girl. Tune in for new episodes every Wednesday.

    Moving In Silence

    Moving In Silence

It’s a band-only episode, so you know what that means: a classic Gayotic conversation ranging from the art of backyard rocks, garlic cabinets, bulk-buying beans and ranking the bases (sex). If you’re a queer gardener you won’t want to miss this. And if you’re not? Stick around for the couches-are-second-beds call to action, spot-on impressions of a squirrel growling, and an intro to the cutest and newest addition to the crew, Katie’s cat Button.

Loser Lesbian and The Funny Gay People In My Phone

not to sound like a loser lesbian but now that gayotic is back in session my will to live has increased exponentially. i work early and long shifts at a dog kennel and these episodes are one of the highlights of my weeks, they keep me company. i don’t have a queer community of my own around me and listening to gayotic feels like i’m talking with friends and it means a lot to me. it must get hard being so talented, funny and sexy all the time so thank you for the effort y’all put into your passions it’s always appreciated ❤️

The Greatest Podcast In The World

Hello little gay people in my headphones.

I'm a massive fan of your music and this podcast has been my rock since finding out it exists. It's been there to make me laugh when I wanted to cry, and keeps me company whenever I get lonely (which is often because I'm single).

You are all so unapologetically Queer and yourself, and it inspires me to do the same. Also, Josette makes me feel better about my constant and incoherent ADHD ramblings (sorry, Jo).

Thank you for your music and for the podcast.

PS: How dare you have About U be repressed. I bought it, along with a turntable and speakers. Do you know how expensive that all is? I won't be taking responsibility for my poor financial decisions-- this is on you guys.

Poor memory from cove-it?

Hi MUNA, love your podcast. I am a lesbian high school art teacher in Canada. Maybe it is because my job is very draining or maybe it’s since I got “cove-it”, but I truly have such a poor memory at just 31 years old. The upside is that I can re-listen to your funniest episodes multiple times and hear the stories anew. The anecdote about the feminist bookstore screening and talk back gets me every time. My wife and I were just saying that we can truly picture each character in this story from real life people we know in the Left. Thank you to the three of you for your service.
