I am only on episode 25 but am killing myself laughing while trying to make dinner. My kids are in the middle of piano lessons and I’m in the kitchen trying not to laugh. I just love this pod cast, I seriously feel like I’m just hanging out with friends. I have gone through addiction a few times but listening to you makes me feel so much better and the laughter is truly the best part. Like my aunt used to say laughing gets all of that good stuff going in your brain. Thanks for the always making me smile.
If you've had a dark past of any kind and need some company to keep the squirrels from running around, you will surely enjoy this podcast. Dave and Chris have a great rapport and some crazy stories which are always entertaining. I'm listening from the beginning and am on episode 62. I know what happens to Chris and it adds a level of sadness when you here him talking about hiding using in the past from family and friends and how he thinks if he were to go out he will die this time. All sorts of ups and downs with these guys on the podcast and I'm enjoying following along and thankful for the laughs. I've been recovered for three years now and think the podcast has a great mix of humour / war stories and recovery. I'm writing this review for Dave who constantly asks for reviews as I am in the earlier episodes. Cheers and god bless dopey nation xx
