The Minnesota DNR has set a catch & release only season for Mille Lacs walleyes during the spring & summer season of 2024. The DNR plans to allow harvest of one slot fish starting in mid-August. A decrease in the walleye forage base is the main reason for the regulation. We'll have more information on this topic coming up soon!
