Finally, Gene Principe (28:43) looks at the Oilers' perspective, McDavid has that same suit and a different tie and why players don’t like the term superstition and prefer “routines.”

A Possible Atkins Replacement...
Ailish Forfar and Justin Cuthbert open the show with parallels to 2006 when the Oilers and Mavs also made the Finals in the same year. Then - when looking at the NHL and the NBA - which team is under the most pressure? Later, over to the Jays and getting blown out by the Orioles, the pressure on the team and looking for answers like players with the Bisons. Next up, Jon Morosi (25:24) from MLB Network on the Jays, the focus of Mark Shapiro that’s been on the business side and why a promotion for James Click makes a lot of sense since he built a World Series winner in Houston.

Writing the Best Oilers/Panthers Headline
Frank Seravalli joins Ailish Forfar and Justin Cuthbert to take a look at the Stanley Cup Finals, the dominance from the state of Florida and whether or not the tax situation has played a part in helping the Lightning and the Panthers make 5 consecutive Cup Finals (5:30). Then, he discusses trade rumours surrounding Mitch Marner, how there are already 7 teams with interest and why that number will only grow. Then, to Panthers insider George Richards (31:28) for a focused look on the Panthers, why this year is different and why they can no longer be happy to be there. Customer Reviews
Ailish is HER
Sportsnet owes her a huge thank you for saving the fan morning show . JD the alcoholic was sinking it . Facts - Ailish was promoted to the hottest time slot and JD Butkis was limited to an hour because he’s so annoying and too hung over to do mornings.. winner!
CANT WAIT FOR THE LEAFS PREGAME WITH MY FAVORITE RADIO HOSTS :)
Ailish and Justin :)
Wake and rake
I’d say the wake and rake is the best part of the show. That’s pretty much the only part I can listen to. To me it feels like a hockey show. Justin just doesn’t have enough knowledge on basketball. Fans will mention a team or player and he’ll openly admit not knowing. I only listen during the wake and rake as they do a good job but they got to up there game when it comes to other sports. Toronto isn’t just hockey anymore and they need to get with the times
Trash without JD
Good JD has his own show now but this show unlistenable without him. This is the best you can do?
