    Legacy... Margaret Thatcher

    Legacy... Margaret Thatcher

Afua Hirsch and Peter Frankopan tell the wild stories of some of the most extraordinary men and women ever to have lived – and ask whether they have the reputation they deserve.

Should Nina Simone’s role in the civil rights movement be more celebrated than it is?

When you find out what Picasso got up to in his studio, can you still admire his art?

And in their most recent series, they take a look at Margaret Thatcher. Was the Iron Lady an inspirational figure, or the architect of a broken Britain?

Legacy is a scripted, structured podcast (detailing key scenes/moments of the subject’s life story e.g. Napoleon), balanced with free-flowing conversational pieces between the two hosts.

Search Legacy now, wherever you get your podcasts, or binge the entire season ad-free on Amazon Music.

Margaret Rlizabeth ,

Interview with Speaker Nancy Pelosi

As a woman involved in politics in Canada I was heartened to listen to your interview with Speaker Nancy Pelosi. “Come on light my fire” was a statement she made in response to male challengers who try to dismiss or obstruct her. I would love to hear more from her sharing her recollections of her role n US politics.

I look forward to listening to her.

robadr ,

Kwasi Kwarteng

I kept being gobsmacked by how someone could be so apparently intelligent and educated and yet so clueless about basic economics, and almost flippantly unaware and incurious about the potential impact of his decisions.
It seemed to tie back to an apparent mindset that governing is now a game played on social media apps, with policy reduced to a throwaway strategy.
You almost have to wonder if there is an undiagnosed brain virus going round our societies. Astonishing and troubling.

Toronto Gran ,

Interview with Anti Kurti

Excellent interview with a very thoughtful , interesting leader. It was fantastic. I learned so much about Kosovo and its role in southeast Europe.

Love the opportunity to listen to interviews with leaders from various walks of life.
