It’s ok

Of the three Locked On podcasts I listen too for my fav teams this is the weakest. Firstly, unlike the other two, the hosts are not plugged in with ppl “in the know” for the team. If you want that dimension Tony Marinarios sick podcast is the best. Secondly, while the host are generally knowledgeable about the sport it’s not a level u would expect in a more professional podcasting outfit like Locked On. Thirdly, too much time is spent discussing ridiculous trade scenarios both from the hosts and listener feedback. In fact too much time is spent on what I would consider “silly” listener questions. You get the feeling it’s used to fill up time. To improve I would suggest using guests to bridge the knowledge gap and replace most of the listener nonsense questions. This podcast has potential but needs help.

Lack of knowledge

“ the active stick” should be embarrassed about her latest podcast. She had no clue who each team had as a top center in the league. As they started listing the teams, she couldn’t remember any of the top players. I was listening along and calling them all out and she didn’t know a single one. This is a huge red flag for this podcast.

Great vibes/less toxic

I have not missed an episode for a good 2 years. These are two fans doing a daily podcast. You'll enjoy listening to them, as they are kind and funny. The Habs have many podcasts (and I listen to many of them, french and english), but I think this one has its own niche that deserves a listen. That niche is a less toxic (well, except when dealing with Sens fans), more positive, but still pretty grounded fan perspective.
