Getting a lot out of this podcast!

Mary is really personable and knowledgeable (and funny) and I’m learning a TON. Some things I already know but it’s great to hear them again and be reminded. Like your own personal health coach right in your ear!

I wish there were more podcasts like this years ago. My situation is a bit different. On my dads side everybody had either Type 1 or Type 2 Diabetes. When l was 36 years l was diagnosed with Stage 2 Thyroid Cancer in which my entire thyroid, lymph nodes and parathyroid was removed. Then l went through 2 years of radioactive Iodine which basically destroyed my immune system. I was told by doctors and dieticians that l would develop Type 2 Hormonal Thyroid Diabetes which happened in 2015. It was exactly 12 years after my cancer. I am on a strong Diabetic med and know in l time l will develop Type 1 Diabetes...Today my weight is 158 lbs and l practice yoga and bicycle on my bike in the living room. Just to let you know in Canada where l live my sugar level when l was diagnosed was 17... Looking forward to listening to your podcasts and l will listen to your previous podcasts.
