The IPOANS Podcast

On this episode of the IPOANS podcast, we are honoured to sit with Mike Moffatt. Mike is the Founding Director of the PLACE Centre and is an Assistant Professor in the Business, Economics, and Public Policy area group at Ivey Business School, Western University. Mike’s research focuses on the intersection of regional economic development, building child-friendly, climate-friendly housing and communities, and clean innovation. In 2017, Mike was the Chief Innovation Fellow for the Government of Canada, advising Deputy Ministers on innovation policy and emerging trends. Sit back as we chat with Mike about the disconnect in policy between immigration and housing, how small tweaks can lead to big change, and whether it’s time to reinvent the wheel, or look into how we’ve broached these issues in the past and adapt them for today. Packed full of important knowledge and creative solutions, it’s an episode you don’t want to miss!
