    the Murder of Amber Tuccaro

    the Murder of Amber Tuccaro

20 year old Amber Tuccaro, was last seen alive on August 18,2010. She had left her infant son in the care of her friend and planned to hitchhike into the nearby city of Edmonton for the night.

The only clue in Amber’s disappearance is the recording of a telephone call she received while riding in a vehicle with an unknown male just moments after she was last seen. In the chilling recording, Amber seems to slowly realize the man is not taking her towards Edmonton but instead onto a series dirt roads… just like the ones her remains would be found on two years later.

the Downfall of Patrik Mathews (with Ryan Thorpe)

the Downfall of Patrik Mathews (with Ryan Thorpe)

Our story centers around two Canadians who met on the front lines of the race war militant white supremacists hope to start.

On one side, we have a journalist with the Winnipeg Free press named Ryan Thorpe and on the other side, we have Patrik Mathews, a Manitoban who moonlights as a recruiter for a secretive neo-nazi hate group.

I say “moonlit” as when not conspiring to overthrow the government and create a white ethnostate, He was known as Master Corporal Patrick Mathews… a combat engineer in the Canadian Military.

At least, he was before Ryan Thorpe's investigative journalism outed him.

    Buckle up for this one.

In this episode of Nighttime we are joined by Ryan Thorpe, the Winnipeg based journalist who infiltrated a paramilitary white supremacy group known as the Base.

Our story is the exposure and the downfall of Master Corporal Patrik Mathews

    the Falcon Lake UFO Incident

    the Falcon Lake UFO Incident

For over 50 years a revolving door of civilian and government investigators have attempted to provide an explanation for the Falcon Lake UFO Incident, yet it remains an enigma.

What is known is that in 1967, just months prior to the other famous Canadian UFO event in Shag Harbour, a man stumbled out of the woods in rural Manitoba disoriented, vomiting, and badly burned.

This wasn't a bonfire gone wrong or anything to do with alcohol however.

The story this man told, and maintained until his death in 1999, was that he encountered a UFO, and got injured in the process.

In this episode of Nighttime, Canadian UFO researcher Chris Rutkowksi shares details of the Falcon Lake event and in doing so explains why this event has remained such a major part of Canada's UFO story.

Regarding Emma...

First of all Jordan I truly enjoy your podcasts, I think your fantastic at what you do. Keep it up.
But regarding the disappearance of Emma
It seems to me by the accounts of everyone from Shelly to the friends who speak about her that this girl doesn’t sound like she’s really ever had a direction with regards to a career or employment, it’s like she lives in this world she’s created that is “magical “ “creative” bouncing around couch surfing
Staying in shelters
It sounds like she doesn’t want face reality
It sounds like she’s been enabled in her life to do so.
All these friends that speak about her never mention about asking her how she thinks she can carry on that lifestyle without any means of any kind.
It sounds like she goes around looking at life through rose coloured glasses living in her mind and her own reality,
Which is a persons choice for sure.
Clearly she is mentally unstable and probably has been all her life at least from the time she finished school.
Too much of that cannot be healthy mentally.
An idle mind is the devils play ground,
It’s a shame she has ended up this way.
I feel for her family
I feel for her mother and the anguish she must go through.
But what baffles me even more is why would you want to put your parents through all of this . Especially if you are just hangout somewhere doin your thing.
Anyway just my thoughts
Thank you

Pauline R ,

A must-listen podcast!

I’m a true crime junkie and I absolutely love this podcast! You can really tell how much work Nancy puts into this podcast, especially with all the interviews and behind-the-scenes details of each story. I especially love that she is able to tell the story from the perspective of family members.

Would definitely recommend!!
