Timbeera ,

This feeds my soul 😇

Megan gives her testimony first hand on what it’s like raising a neurodiverse kid. In Episode 3: The discipline debate: she talks about how for a strong willed child the regular 2 ways to parent don’t work. I never thought of why. My child is defiant she doesn’t want a take charge parent and on the flip side she doesn’t have the ability developmentally to be able to process her feelings with me for positive parenting. Love how she says she stopped trying force herself to act in a certain way that she felt that other people and society would approve of. She said it simply: do what works for you and your child. To meet you child where they’re at. 🤯I didn’t realize I was backing myself in a corner and putting myself in a box by trying to conform to please others. She is empowering us to be better moms. 🙌 Then she decided to have her podcast to be a platform to speak with other moms of “out of the box” kids. I love listening to the raw conversations discussed. I can 100% relate!
