I really enjoy listening to this podcast every week - it gives me great food for thought on my daily commute. Rob and Eric have a comfortable bantering manner that makes it fun as well as meaningful. I appreciate their honesty and the work that they do to provide great background material. Their guest contributors are fantastic and Richard on the psalms is amazing. Thank you!!

I love the thoughtful analysis of the revised common lectionary texts each week. It’s engaging and helpful. It’s like taking part in a wonderful conversation about how to be a follower of Jesus and how to share what we learn with others.

I have not had much luck finding biblical commentary podcasts that don’t make me want to throw my computer directly into Lake Ontario. Now that I’ve found Pulpit Fiction, I won’t have to shell out the money for a new laptop. I appreciate the contextual commentary - placing the readings in their historical context, as well as in the present day context. Excellent information for those hoping to hear discussion on readings that are not rooted in a fundamentalist eco system.

Love listening to the podcast the weeks I'm preaching. You provide a good overview of the texts, and aren't afraid to confront the elephant in the room when there is a challenge. Also like the fact you sometimes politely disagree on a particular reading. It is good to hear brothers in the faith taking seriously the task of engaging the Word. Thanks!
